Boma la Mama is an organization for women in the village of Mto wa Mbu, Tanzania. Boma la Mama’s main goal is to provide a midwifery- led Birth Centre in the village; which should open in 2019.
Boma la Mama also has a women’s workshop which provides access to income, training, and companionship for women of the village, as well as generating funds for the birth centre project.
